Project Statement:
BFA Thesis project is a video installation that explores human's perception of time and memory. Using video, I recorded, played back, slowed down and looped an observational documentation of a figure walking...moving through space to an unknow (to me) destination. Prints and drawings are turned into lightboxes and are used to create a surface for the reflected video to be seen. The movement of the video and the stillness of the lightboxes comment on the memory and passage of time in everyday activities.
